Each Product purchased is sold subject to its Product Description which sets out additional Specific Conditions related to that Product including, without limitation, terms and conditions concerning estimated delivery dates and times, warranties, after-sales service and guarantees.

We will take all reasonable care to ensure that all details, descriptions and prices of Products appearing on the Website are correct at the time when the relevant information was entered onto the system. Although we aim to keep the Website as up to date as possible, the information including Product Descriptions appearing on this Website at a particular time may not always reflect the position exactly at the moment you place an order.

We cannot confirm the price of a Product until your order is accepted in accordance with our Order Acceptance Policy.

There may be situations where the product is no longer available. In this instance, we will contact you to advise you of the situation and provide alternative products of which you can proceed with your order or cancel. If you decide to cancel, Dhaaru will organize a refund.

Product dimensions, weight, colors and specifications

Whilst we try to be as accurate as possible, all size, weights and measurements quoted on this website are approximate. Images of the products shown on this website are for illustrative purpose only. We have made every effort to display all product colors accurately. However we cannot guarantee that the image displayed on your monitor will accurately reflect the true color of the products delivered to you. Please be aware that colors may differ between manufactures.

Whilst every effort has been made to ensure that product specifications are on this website due to continual product development through research and design specifications may change without notice.

Delivery

Delivery will be made to the address specified by you. Please note that our standard delivery of products is island wide and worldwide. Our courier and assigned third party courier services will make all deliveries to you. We do our best to secure delivery on timelines as mentioned in the checkout pages. International deliveries will depend on the destination which will be informed to you over an email. As given in the checkout pages, you will have three optional delivery methods being; cash on delivery (Available only on Sunday), courier and SL post. The cost of delivery will depend on the weight of the items. If you wish to change the delivery please give us no less than 24hour notice prior to delivery. You may be charged a delivery charge which will be advised in the checkout pa

On delivery you will be required to sign a proof of delivery which shall be conclusive evidence that you have received your order.

Promotions

If there are multiple promotions going on, the discounted rate cannot be used in conjunction with any other offers.

Items bought under promotions cannot be exchanged.

We will treat all your Personal Information as confidential (although we reserve the right to disclose this information under the circumstances set out below). We will store it on a secure server and ensure it completely complies with all applicable Sri Lanka Data Protection and consumer legislation that is in place at the given time.

When you create a shopping account while ordering online you will be given the option of receiving information from Dhaaru by post, e-mail or telephone regarding, products, promotions or special offers which we feel may be of interest to you. In the event that you do not wish to be contacted for such purposes, ensure that you tick the appropriate box as you go through the registration process. You may unsubscribe from our contact list at any time by replying to a promotional e-mail with the word "unsubscribe" in the subject line.

Exchange Policy

Should you wish to return anything bought from us online, we will be happy to exchange a product provided it is in fully resalable condition. Returns should be made within a reasonable time (usually 2 weeks) and in original, undamaged packaging along with the invoice. If we find that the product has not been returned to us in fully resalable condition, we reserve the right to refuse the exchange. A refund of the delivery charge will be given in the instance of incorrect, damaged or faulty goods.

Returns can be made by sending an email to chat@dhaaru.com by following below guideline;

• Heading of the mail – please mark as “return”
• In the body of the mail, please mention;
  • Order numbe
  • Reason for return
  • If you wish to replace of refund your item

We will email you back with further instructions and we will arrange for the courier to come to collect the product you wish to return - free of charge only if the goods are incorrect, damaged or faulty.

Exchanges

We will be unable to release the exchanged product until the original product has been received. However, we can reserve the product to ensure you receive the product of your choice. A delivery charge will apply unless the goods returning are incorrect, damaged or faulty.

When returning goods on which you have received a discount or special offer, that discount/offer will no longer apply. Additionally any free promotional gift issued with an order must also be returned if you are returning those goods

Products we are unable to refund or exchange

Personalized good or goods made to a customer's specifications will not be returned except pursuant to your statutory rights.

Delivery charges

We will refund your original delivery charge when a product is faulty or damaged, but not when a product is simply unwanted.

Change or cancel an order

If you wish to change or cancel an order, contact/Text us via 0718222451 and/or chat@dhaaru.com. Please have the order number and date of order at hand. If your products have already been delivered, then you will need to follow our returns procedure.

Please note: The above policies are subject to change by Dhaaru at any time without prior notice.

As a customer of Dhaaru, you will have two methods of payment being Bank Deposit and Cash on delivery.

Cash on delivery service is limited to areas given below and is available only on Sundays. Confirmed orders till midnight of Friday will be counted for the cash on deliveries on immediate Sunday. Items of small weight will only be delivered via SL post. Weight of the item and delivery mode can be viewed during the steps of the checkout phase.

Courier service will be available island wide and the respective cost would be respective to weight and delivery address.

For courier and SL post, full price of the product and delivery cost as applicable must be deposited to any of the below bank accounts with unique transaction code given to you at the checkout phase. Your delivery will be processed within 24 hours of the deposit realization.
